Duty Chemist

The Batheaston Pharmacy is open from 8.45am – 1pm and 2.15pm – 6.30pm Monday to Friday, and on Saturday mornings from 9am – 1pm. There is always a pharmacy open in Bath on Sundays and Bank Holidays: usually 11am – 12 noon and 6pm – 7pm. Sainsbury’s pharmacy operates in line with its usual retail Bank Holiday times. Telephone 0117 9414650 after hours and at weekends for details of the Chemist on duty.

Repeat Prescriptions

Please apply in writing or preferably using the computer-printed counterfoil. Allow two working days for processing. Your signed prescription can be collected from Batheaston Pharmacy, or (if you indicate this to Reception) from the Surgery. Should you wish it to be posted to you please enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope. Periodically you will be invited for review of medication if you have not recently been seen. Please note we do not accept prescription requests over the phone. This is to protect you from potential error and also to prevent appointment lines from becoming so busy that urgent patients cannot access a doctor.
